“Sometimes the smallest things take up the most room in your heart.” – A.A. Milne

In the grand scheme of the universe of stars and planets, we can forget how much light there is to be found in the small, simple things. This copperized decaying leaf is home to three tiny mice and a tiny frog, playing and growing and living at the smallest possible scale.  This piece is a reminder to cherish the small things and remember there are worlds within our world that are well worth taking into our hearts.

Materials:  cradled board; metallicized leaf; miniature mice charms; tiny silver frog; strands of pearls; wooden stars; tiny light bulb; cut paper; acrylic paints.
