Hardwood Cutting Boards by Bruce Launer
One of the most popular items in the gallery, Bruce's cutting boards are finely crafted with a fish, bird, leaf, or abstract design. The artist works to incorporate the unique features of the grain of each board when ever possible.
Each design has beautiful inlay work and is crafted from dark walnut, reddish padauk and/or blond oak. In addition to these woods, abstract designs often feature oak, acacia and purple wood and also have a beautiful curved inlay.
Because each piece is a one-of-a-kind handcrafted item woodgrain of each cutting board varies.
