When this funky angelic being came together with this wonderfully patinated vintage tin box, I wondered what he was here to do or offer.  Then all these little people wandered into the picture, jumping into the miniature flowerpots and waiting to be carried up to some higher plane, and it occurred to me that these are the artists of the world, selected through a mysterious process to view this life from a different perspective than the others.
