Legendary Firesign Theatre Poet, Performer, Artist
To list the credentials of David Ossman on this page would make for a long list of award winning records, books, events, radio productions, comedy performances, theater productions, film voices, etc, etc. There is, however, a fairly well kept secret few people know about Ossman, and that is his visual art.
For at least the past 50 years, in his "spare" time, David has been creating series of collages, assemblages, handset letterpress poetry, and a variety of curious, quirky and peculiar reflections on American culture in an artistic effort rooted in Dadaism and Surrealism. Rarely exhibited, one can see these works around his home, or if lucky, when David pulls out a bulging portfolio of his creations, each with a story.
